Fibroblast plasma therapy - how it works and how it could help with your skincare regime
The procedure, which should only ever be carried out by an experienced, fully trained practitioner, is a method of improving the appearance of skin around the eyes - one of the key spots for age-related fine lines
to appear. To achieve this, we use a plasma pen, a device which delivers a tiny arc of plasma to the skin, singeing the surface in one focused, minuscule area and causing the underlying tissue to tighten. The process is repeated in a grid pattern over the treatment area. Anaesthesia is administered before the treatment begins.

What about side effects?
Immediately after treatment, the area may be red, with small brown spots visible 1-2 days after the treatment. Swelling may occur and some crusting where the small brown dots are evident.
After 5-7 days, the sloughing of the wound healing process should have disappeared, with the redness reduced. After 3 weeks or so, you should begin to see the desired results.
